Reviews
I struggled with this one. I love the obvious effort to be more inclusive, both in terms of race and sexual identity. But Max's story diverted too far from the league to make it feel cohesive, and Abbi struggled to carry the lead role. Overall I just found it slow paced and a bit boring, as much as I wanted to like it. The exception is the finale, which was excellent and had me in tears and chills multiple times.
